Who is responsible for your information?

Your Breath Lab Ltd, trading as MayStan, company number 07761405, is responsible for the personal information it uses for enquiries, introductory-call bookings and programme delivery. Its registered office is 36 Northwich Road, Weaverham, Northwich, England, CW8 3BG. Contact us at hello@maystan.org with questions or privacy requests.

Information you share with us

Our embedded HubSpot enquiry form asks for your first name, optional last name, email address and an optional message (“What’s on your mind?”). We receive the information you choose to submit and any subsequent correspondence.

Introductory calls are booked on HubSpot’s separate booking page, which asks for your first name, last name and email address alongside your chosen meeting time and duration. These details are used to arrange the call and related communications.

Your message may include information about your health or personal circumstances. Please share only what is necessary for your enquiry. Any health-related information you share with us is treated as confidential.

Website and embedded-service requests also disclose technical information such as IP address, browser information and the requested page to the services delivering them. Optional HubSpot analytics may record visits and recognise a returning browser where you have given consent; see our Cookie Policy.

Why we use information, and our lawful bases

  • To respond to enquiries and arrange a service you request: steps at your request before entering a contract, where applicable.
  • To manage general correspondence and administer our business: our legitimate interests in answering messages and running MayStan, balanced against your rights.
  • To meet legal obligations where they apply, including responding to valid legal requests.
  • For optional analytics and tracking: your consent. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time through Cookie Settings.

Making an enquiry is not permission to send unrelated marketing. If marketing is introduced, the applicable permission and opt-out information will be provided separately.

Confidential programme participation records

During programme delivery, MayStan collects relevant personal and health-related information, including session notes, personal circumstances, BOLT measurements and heart-rate readings. These confidential participation records are distinct from ordinary website enquiries and introductory-call bookings, and are handled with particular care given their sensitivity.

Client records are stored locally on a computer and backed up through Apple iCloud and Google Drive. They are not solely held within HubSpot.

Services that help us

HubSpot provides the embedded enquiry form, enquiry-management tools and introductory-call booking page. Google Workspace is used for MayStan’s business email. Lovable hosts this website. Apple iCloud and Google Drive provide backups of confidential programme records stored locally on a computer.

International transfers

Some of these service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for such transfers, MayStan relies on the applicable adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards provided by those services. Contact us to ask about the safeguards that apply to your information.

How long we keep information

Enquiry, booking and email records, and confidential programme participation records, are each kept only for as long as needed for their purpose, including any relevant legal obligations or resolving a dispute, and are then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us at any time how a particular type of record is handled.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your information, correct it, erase it, restrict its use or receive portable information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier processing unlawful.

Email hello@maystan.org to make a request. We may need to verify your identity. Rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions; requests are normally answered within one month, with permitted extensions where necessary.

Concerns and complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or the relevant data protection authority where you live.

Other websites and updates

HubSpot’s booking page and other external services have their own privacy information. We will update this policy when our practices change and show the review date here.
